Parents FAQ

Answers to the questions parents ask most about our lessons, pricing and how we match your child with a tutor.

About the Lessons

How do the lessons work?

Every lesson is a live one-to-one class with your child's own tutor, lasting 30 minutes, held on Zoom or Google Meet.

What age can my child start?

Children can start from around age 3–4 with Noorani Qaida. We teach all ages, from young children to teenagers and adults.

Which courses can my child take?

Noorani Qaida, Quran reading, Tajweed, Hifz (memorisation), Islamic studies and Arabic. The tutor recommends a starting point after the first class.

What does my child need?

A laptop, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection and a quiet space.

Can lessons fit around school?

Yes. You choose times that suit your family, including after school, evenings and weekends, in UK and US time zones.

Will I know how my child is progressing?

Yes. Tutors share regular feedback with parents, and you're welcome to sit in on any lesson.

Pricing & Payments

How much do lessons cost?

Plans start from £30 a month. 4 days a week is £40 a month and 5 days a week is £45 a month.

Is the trial class really free?

Yes. Your first trial class is free, with no payment details needed and no obligation to continue.

Are there contracts?

No long-term contracts. Plans are monthly, so you can change or stop your plan when you need to.

Can siblings learn too?

Yes. Each child has their own one-to-one lessons, and we're happy to arrange times that suit the whole family.

Tutor Matching

How do you choose my child's tutor?

We look at your child's age, level, course, preferred times and any tutor preference you give us, then match them with a suitable qualified tutor.

Can I request a female tutor?

Yes. We have qualified male and female tutors. Just tell us your preference when booking.

What if my child doesn't click with the tutor?

Let us know and we'll arrange a different tutor. Your child should feel comfortable and motivated.

Will my child keep the same tutor?

Yes, wherever possible your child stays with the same tutor so they build a steady relationship and routine.

Safety

Is online learning safe for my child?

Lessons are live and one-to-one on Zoom or Google Meet, and parents can watch any lesson. We encourage children to learn in a shared family space.
