Online Hifz Programme — Memorise the Holy Quran with a Qualified Tutor
Our structured, personalised online Hifz programme uses the proven Sabaq-Sabqi-Manzil system to help students memorise the Quran consistently, correctly, and for life.
Prerequisite: Fluent Quran reading with basic Tajweed.
The Honour of Becoming a Hafiz or Hafiza of the Quran
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that the one who memorises the Quran will be told on the Day of Judgment: "Recite and rise, for your station will be at the last verse you recite." Becoming a Hafiz or Hafiza is one of the most cherished achievements in the Muslim world — an intercession for the parents and a light for the child throughout their life.
At British Quran Academy, we have built a Hifz programme that makes this achievement accessible to students living in the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia — without needing to attend a residential Hifz school and disrupt family life. Your child memorises the Quran from home, with a dedicated tutor, on a schedule that fits around school.
What Our Hifz Programme Delivers
- Daily new memorization (Sabaq) with immediate correction
- Recent-week revision (Sabqi) to lock in short-term memory
- Older-portion revision (Manzil) to build long-term retention
- Tajweed applied to every Ayah memorised
- Monthly written progress reports for parents
- Personalised memorization pace — no forced speed
- Preparation for public recitation and Tarawih
- Optional path toward Ijazah in Hifz
The Sabaq-Sabqi-Manzil System — How Our Hifz Programme Works
Sabaq (New Lesson)
Each session begins with the student reciting their newly memorised portion — the Ayaat or lines learned since the last class. The tutor listens, corrects, and confirms mastery before moving forward.
Sabqi (Recent Revision)
The student then revises the portion memorised over the past 7 days. This keeps recent memorization fresh and moves it from short-term to long-term memory.
Manzil (Older Revision)
Finally, the student revises older memorized portions — Surahs and Juz from earlier in the programme. This is the most critical part of Hifz and what protects earlier portions from being forgotten.
Who Can Join the Hifz Programme?
Children Aged 6+
The ideal age to begin Hifz. Young minds memorise quickly. Our tutors are experienced in keeping young students engaged and motivated.
Teenagers
Many teenagers begin Hifz alongside school. Our flexible scheduling makes it possible. We help students balance school studies with their Hifz progress.
Adults
Adult Hifz takes longer but is entirely achievable with consistency. Even memorising one Ayah a day adds up to the full Quran in time.
How We Track Your Child's Hifz Progress
Every parent receives a monthly written report showing: Juz memorised this month, total Juz memorised to date, Sabqi (recent revision) status, Manzil (older revision) status, tutor's notes, and an estimated completion timeline. You are never in the dark about where your child is on their Hifz journey.
0–10 min
Sabqi revision (recent week's memorization).
10–20 min
Sabaq presentation (today's new memorization).
20–30 min
Manzil revision (older portion assigned by tutor).
What Our Students Say
"My daughter started Hifz aged 9 and is now in Juz 7 — memorising with correct Tajweed. The Sabqi and Manzil system is the reason she is not forgetting what she memorised months ago."
"As an adult starting Hifz late in life, I appreciate my tutor's patience. Alhamdulillah, I have memorised 5 Juz and I am not stopping."
