Class Duration Policy

Standard Class Duration

Each one-to-one class at British Quran Academy is 30 minutes long. This duration begins at the scheduled start time and ends promptly at the 30-minute mark, regardless of when either party joins the session.

Punctuality

Students are expected to join the class on time. If a student is late, the class will still end at the originally scheduled time — lost minutes cannot be recovered at the end of the session, as our tutors have back-to-back appointments with other students.

If a tutor is late for any reason, the missed minutes will be made up either at the end of the same session (where possible) or added to a future session at a mutually agreed time.

Extended Sessions

If you would like longer classes (45 or 60 minutes), please contact us on WhatsApp to arrange a custom plan and pricing. Extended sessions must be scheduled in advance and cannot be requested mid-class.

Why This Policy Exists

A fixed 30-minute duration allows us to keep pricing affordable while ensuring every student receives a focused, high-quality session. Research shows children retain more from short, consistent lessons than from long, tiring ones — so this format is designed around what actually helps students progress.

Standardised timing also allows our tutors to serve more families around the world without compromising quality. Every family, whether in the UK, USA, Canada, or Australia, receives the same reliable class length so that expectations and outcomes remain consistent.
